Our Sonographer II will perform quality diagnostic ultrasonic procedures using advanced knowledge and judgment in regards to imaging technique, pathology documentation and patient care. They will focus is on complicated cases and abnormal pathology, as well as training and mentoring of other ultrasound staff and students.  

*This is a full time position with some Saturdays required. Locations for the position will include working at NWP-East, NWP-West and other WHA clinics.


  • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) board certification in OB/GYN required.
  • Board certified in fetal echocardiography.
  • Current license with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging.
  • CPR and AED certification required.
  • Certification in Nuchal Translucency through the Fetal Medicine Foundation or the Nuchal Translucency Quality Review program required.
  • At least three years prior experience as a sonographer examining fetal anomalies, high-risk OB patients in a high risk office or hospital setting required.
  • Ability to travel and staff a variety of WHA satellite clinics to in order to provide an advanced level of skill and support to our referring providers.
  • Knowledge of sterile techniques used in invasive procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge of M-Mode, pulsed and color Doppler, real time techniques and proficient 3D/4D skills.
  • Competent in use of computer for patient data entry and retrieval, image archiving and report generation.
  • Knowledge of complex instrumentation to extract the finest quality equipment performance.
  • Proven effective communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • Breast ultrasound experience is preferred.
