Our Medical Assistant will provide direct support to our clinicians in an outpatient setting (including preparing exam rooms, greeting and rooming patients, taking vitals and gathering patient history)

The Medical Assistant Float provides back-up coverage for Medical Assistant positions in the Clinical Services departments throughout Women's Healthcare Associates ("WHA").

This is a 40 hr/wk position that will be floating between our Tualatin, Newberg and Oregon City locations.

*New employees hired externally into this position will be eligible for a $1000 hiring bonus on the first paycheck after successfully completing 90 days of employment!


  • Coordinates schedules and work assignments with the Clinical Supervisors, in conjunction with the Practice Manager. Takes initiative to arrange work assignments in advance.
  • Performs the duties of a Medical Assistant as outlined in the relevant job description and depending upon individual's qualifications.
  • Drives between clinic sites on an on-call basis.
  • Takes responsibility for and demonstrates safe work practices.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
  • Maintains WHA confidentiality standards.
  • Attends WHA and clinic meetings.
  • Models The Values Statement and The Patient Experience of WHA.


  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Graduate from an accredited medical assisting program or licensed as an LPN in the state of Oregon.
  • Certified as an MA through the AAMA, NCCT or AMT, or the ability to obtain certification within 12 months of hire date required (if recent graduate from an accredited medical assisting program).
  • CPR certification required.
  • Knowledge of medical charting processes and procedures required. Prior experience with electronic medical records software preferred.
  • Previous medical assisting experience in an OB/GYN medical group setting preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and effectively work with others.
  • Prior experience in phlebotomy/injections strongly preferred.
  • Ability to easily adapt and be flexible to varying WHA clinic processes.
  • Experience with Epic EMR a plus!
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
