Temp Screeners are responsible for greeting patients, staff, and visitors and asking screening questions.

The position is part time, working two 10 hour shifts.

Duties:

  • Greets patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Creates a welcoming environment by answering basic questions and providing directions
  • Screens each individual per the current health screening requirements and process and works to provide a comfortable, confidential screening experience.
  • Ensures appropriate PPE standards are followed for those entering the facility.
  • Maintains a clean and disinfected area, including, but not limited to, door knobs, thermometers, tables, counters, etc.
  • Relates to customers in a patient, empathetic way, maintains a positive attitude, and conveys information effectively.
  • Maintains confidentiality of all patient demographic, medical, and financial information in accordance with HIPAA.
  • Takes responsibility for and demonstrates safe work practices.
  • Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
  • Maintains WHA confidentiality standards.
  • Attends WHA and clinic meetings.
  • Models The Values Statement and The Patient Experience of WHA

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Customer service experience required, medical office experience preferred.
  • Proven effective verbal, listening and written communications skill required. .
  • Performs work with a high degree of detail and attention to accuracy.
  • Ability to demonstrate The Mission and Values and The Patient Experience of WHA.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
